Minister |
Corey L. Glover - born in Hollywood, Florida. He obeyed the Gospel at the age of seven at the Golden Heights Church of Christ in Ft. Lauderdale Florida under the preaching of Brother W.F. Washington. Subsequently, Corey worshipped at the Hallandale Church of Christ where Brother Bernard Smith was the Minister. Under the mentorship of Brother Smith, Corey preached his first gospel sermon at the age of thirteen. During his school aged years Corey excelled academically. He graduated with honors from Nova High School in Davie, FL and received a full academic scholarship to Florida A & M University in Tallahassee. While in Tallahassee, Corey worked with the youth and college ministry at the Springhill Road Church of Christ under the leadership of Brother Wesley T. Leonard. In 1991, Corey graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Administration. In 1992, Corey graduated with a Masters Degree in Business Administration. After graduating from college, Corey returned to South Florida and the Hallandale congregation assigned him the role of its first youth minister. Corey has preached at the Regional and Statewide Youth Conferences, Regional and Statewide Singles Seminars, the Florida Statewide Lectureship, Southeastern Regional Lectureship, Spiritual Growth Workshop, Caribbean Lectureship and the National Lectureship. He was also privileged to speak in Jamaica, W.I. and Caparra Heights, San Juan, Puerto Rico and Dominica West Indies. On August 18th, 2001 Corey married the former Maritza Riviere. In June of 2002 the Lord called home Bro. Smith and a month later Corey was chosen to succeed Bro. Smith as Minister of the Hallandale Beach Church of Christ. Corey continues to preach gospel meetings and revivals; conduct financial seminars and budgeting classes for the church and the community; and perform pre-marital counseling. He is presently employed as the Manager of Treasury Operations for Republic Services, Inc. in Fort Lauderdale, and he is involved with several civic boards for the City of Hollywood, Florida. He loves the Lord, the Church and his family.

Eric Wilson - (Youth & Education Leader) - Born in Tallahassee, Florida was added to the Lord's Church almost 15 years ago. He began his Christian journey at Springhill Road under the ministry of Brother Wesley T. Leonard. Eric married Tonya King the same year and they begin their life as one working for the Lord. They moved to South Florida and began attending the Hallandale congregation and continued their growth under Brother Bernard Smith. Brother Smith encouraged Eric and he did his first sermon in 2000. Eric worked with the youth leader Corey L. Glover and then when Brother Glover became minister of the congregation Eric Wilson became one of the two brothers to lead the youth at Hallandale with the support of his wife. Today Eric Wilson works as the Leader of the Youth and Education programs at Hallandale Beach Church of Christ and a great preacher of the Gospel when needed.

Joe Bell - (Transportation Coordinator) - Member of the body of Christ for over 50 years. He has been working in the transportation industry for over 20 years. Has his own touring bus company known as Christian Transportation Services, Inc(CTSI). He coordinates transportation for the congregation as well.
