MISSION STATEMENT

The Mission of the Church is outlined in God's Word; and that is to preach and teach in order to make disciples of Christ in "all nations" or in "all the world". (Matthew 28:18-20 and Mark 16:15-16). The focus for the church of Christ at Hallandale Beach is to spread the gospel in its "world". As a church with members of all ages, ethnic backgrounds and from various surrounding cities, our mission is centered in the city of Hallandale Beach, and extends into the surrounding South Florida tri-county area.

 

This Mission is achieved by performing the Four Great Works of the Church. Evangelism - going out and spreading the gospel or good news to those who are lost; Edification - building spirituality and good moral character through teaching; Benevolence - genuine care, concern and compassion toward those who need assistance to sustain daily life (e.g. the hungry, sick, elderly, etc.); and Worship - the church's complete devotion to God, whether formal (Worship Services) or informal (Daily Living). Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ fulfilled His mission - leaving us examples of the works listed above. Simply put, He "...went about doing good". (Acts 10:38). As His loyal followers in the 21st Century, we strive to "walk in His steps". In so doing, it is our aim to:
